I am a native of a small rural South Georgia town, Quitman, GA located 15 minutes from the Florida border. I was reared, educated, employed as an educator, and lived my life within a 30-mile radius of my hometown. I am a wife, mother, grandmother and currently am an author as well as serving as pastor of my childhood church, Mt. Moriah along with two assistants, my husband and another assistant minister. Additionally, I wear many other hats and fill many other roles.

I love spending time with my husband, my family and friends’ gatherings, watching old shows on television that depict life when it was simpler and westerns on Saturdays. My favorite colors are purple and fuchsia pink, although I do love all bright, vibrant colors, flowers, pedicures, manicures, perfume, shopping and shiny black vehicles. I love warm weather, southern cuisine, and crab legs. My favorite holiday is the magical Christmas season.
I love studying and teaching the word of God, listening for RHEMA, filling my atmosphere with praise and worship music, and working in God’s service. I love my children and grandchildren, all the students whose lives I have been blessed to touch during my 40 years in public education and at the university levels, as well as all my peer teachers with whom we have forged everlasting bonds. I love to listen and minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of people who God places in my path. I love being saved!
God has allowed me to achieve educationally. I have earned a BSED (1989), two MSED’s (1994 & 1999), an EDS (2009), an EDD (ABD-2012), a DMIN (2017) and a PHD (2019). All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe it all to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I invite you to join in and connect with the RHEMA word He has provided in my latest book, Sunday Morning Teach!
All Blessings and Honor and Praise to the LORD,
